The whole idea is so incredibly far-fetched, as to defy several DoDEA regulations, and at least two Federal laws, and violate the Union Contract..

I can completely understand your frustration with the lack of a transfer round. I graduated with my masters this year with the intention of applying for ISS positions that will allow me to move locations.

EAS is used even for local hires, so I don't see how you would be considered. If you leave DoDEA, and return the USA, you must be there at least a year before you can accept another overseas position.
