Hope you all are doing well. I have my first interview tomorrow after being referred all year and now I've finally accepted an interview but I am nervous.
Anyone have experience with the secondary campus on the Osan base in South Korea? Any general tips for DODEA interviews?

Thanks everyone! I had my interview last Friday. IDK how I did. I loved the school but I have heard nothing back and I am getting nervous. I know there are many teachers with loads of experience compared to my 7 years so we will see. Does anyoneknow how long it normally takes for schools to get back to you? If selected, the time frame to hear from HR runs from hours to months, with days to a week being fairly typical.
If not selected it could be months (or not at all). HR will generally wait until the person offered the position accepts and is then cleared for a firm offer/orders, before they notify everyone else as not selected. HR would gen...See More

I remember that 10 days after my interview for a job in Germany, I called DoDEA to learn that the position was filled and I was so sad. Then at 14 days, I got the email! The position was filled...but by me! and the DoDEA staffer didn't tell me when I called and gave my name.

For my first job in Japan, I interviewed in July but I didn't get the FedEx packet that offered the job for a month. (Now it's all by email).
