I realize how competitive these jobs are and I am highly limited in only applying to one location. However, I'm wondering if anyone has any insight into the teaching landscape in Ankara? I'm trying to figure out how much a long shot this actually is!! Any feedback would be welcome!

No personal experience. I believe the location is now categorized as unaccompanied but not exactly sure what this entails (no dependents, but not sure of the details). Not sure if you will be traveling to Turkey with your partner or not. But do be aware that their are different rules for someone who is hired from Stateside vs. someone who is a "local hire"
