I am glad you found copies of the forms. I agree, especially with the way EAS works that you should keep your own copies and upload them to EAS. Keep your own copies of everything even when working for DoDEA. It can be difficult to access them when you leave.

The same thing happened to me with a DoDEA break of 24 years. I worked the correction after re-onboarding. For me, this was the wrong choice because while I got my full expected salary in back pay, I had problems with Block 24 on the SF50 not being correct when it came to Tenure.

I emailed Ms. McNair who is the HR specialist in the Americas and she said that if the forms were no longer in my EAS I must've deleted them (not true) and possibly they files were not transferred to my OPF (true)
