HelpOthers @IsItFriday? I thought that was why they pretty recently announced that the only non-US citizen teachers had to be for the host-nation class and not for any other classes.

Slcjkl I'm 99% sure that those letter "codes" are just the initials of the individual who certified you. I have them everywhere.

Icanread Yep, like Slcjkl said. They are not codes for anything, just the initials and date that your quals were reviewed and who reviewed them.

haha Nothing first hand. The school is relatively small (300 or so MS/HS combined last I looked). The ES on base is reasonable size (400 or so?). The only things I recall about the base is that it is relatively small and definitely rural.

BlueSky Worked on Sig in the early 2000s. Haha's description fits with my experience. Sicily's landscape is pretty. Definitely rural and rustic. The schools were good, and the base had a good bit to offer. Enjoyed my time there.

I just did my transportation form and it said my initial contract was 3 years and if I fulfilled that, they would move my stuff back to the states. I had thought it was 2? How many years does it take to be tenured? Thanks.
