Mr. Fish, when I received my firm offer the email included the in-processing packet. Which had everything you mentioned plus the firm offer letter.

My big packet. And with my tentative offer. My firm offer I did not sign and return as my orders served as my firm. The direct deposit and tax forms are to be turned in to your secretary upon arrival -- they are your financial gurus

I was wondering if it was possible to get an update on people's travel dates timeline. For example, how long after final orders did it take to get travel orders? Agree on the movers, Teach. We got our HHG shipment no problem. However, we wanted to put some stuff in storage and the other company we got would not budge about coming before we have to move out of our house. We did not have a lot, so we decided to just donate what we planned to store locally.

My firm offer was my travel orders. Once I submitted the travel request the flights were booked within 48hrs. My flight is booked as requested in a few weeks but still await passports

I just received a couple of emails on Monday that I have been placed on two referral lists for positions at Ft Campbell. How long after that email until interviews start? Would I have already heard back if I was getting an interview?

Just because you're on a referral list does not mean you will get an interview. I was placed on several before I got my first interview. Luckily, I got the job from the first interview, so be prepared. Boot everyone out of the house so you can have a quiet space to relax.

It doesn't hurt to email the principal either. I was referred to many schools. I emailed 2 of the principals and received interviews on both. I didn't get the first one. I think I got beat out by a local..lol. I just interviewed again last week and waiting to hear back now. I got wind from my referrals that they had been contacted. So fingers cross...See More

I am in the same position but with a report date to Germany next August. Where on the application can I find the local applicants only? I was only able to choose Germany as a preference. Any help appreciated!

In general, everything should be OK since you would be running them on a lower voltage (as opposed to a higher voltage). From personal experience TV's, DVD players, computers etc will be fine. cholesterol isn't checked.. eye exam, tb test, audiology, color blind, eye exam, ekg (over 40)... easy peasy...

Technically/legally in the state of Georgia, the judge can sign off on the modification since it is uncontested and already notarized by both my ex and myself as soon as I file it with the courts, however my county requires a hearing regardless. My husband received his firm offer today. Tentative offer June 1, Fingerprints submitted June 30, firm offer July 17. Officially quit our positions in the states. They mildly threatened to report us if they can't find a replacement, but it was definitely a form letter.

No, not really. We are both tenured so we don't really sign contracts anymore. Basically, they tell everyone this who quits after April 30th regardless of why they are leaving. Then as soon as they find a replacement it is not a thing. It is odd, because they just started doing this. When my friend left on July 24th in 2011, they didn't flinch.

Sounds like you guys work for a Georgia school district. They hit me with the threats last year and I caved in and didn't go. This year, I have my Florida certification as back up and if they want the Georgia certificate...I'll wrap it for them. We are going to Osan.
