Are they wanting this information based on my school or based on my individual course load?
For example, should I answer that I only teach 7th grade and one course, or should I answer that our school has 6th, 7th, and 8th graders and a total of 400 students?
I'm just a little confused because it doesn't clearly say if it's about the school or about my individual classes.

I saw where someone asked if the pages needed to be numbered but I did not see an answer. Can anyone tell me if I need to number my pages? I have heard from people who completed their boards in the past that they were required to do that but I do not see it in the current directions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
In the past, when paper copies were sent in, page numbers were mandatory in case the papers were dropped or messed up somehow, to put them back in order. Obviously with the electronic submission, that isn't an issue anymore.
So I'd say it's your choice!

"The coming weeks", is that referring to what I am going to do after Sample 3?
My student has made a lot of gains through this process, so the objectives I originally set have almost been met: working on spelling and writing complete sentences.
Would I discuss the gains this child has made through writing, or should I focus on sample 3 and talk about the next steps?
I know this was asked but I don't know if it was answered
The instructional materials for Component 3 that support the videos ---Is it a benefit to submit a student worksheet completed or a student blank worksheet? Is it up to us to decide or is it documented someplace?

In my mind these show more evidence than a blank one...shows it's effectiveness with the student.

I am having the same problem...did you decide what to do for yours? One of my prompts has 5 pages with it.
I am planning on uploading my videos to the site. It says I need two video submissions. Is this two different lessons or two different components from the same lesson? I teach 90 minutes classes and each video can only be 15 minutes max.

If I offered advice, I'd say expect scores late...See MoreI'm afraid I have no inside information that could predict when scores will be released. I don't know any more than all of you do. I'm guessing that the date was late last year because Components 1 and 2 were new. Component 3 is new this year and it's like a double component - with 2 videos.
If I offered advice, I'd say expect scores late (like last year) and be happily surprised if they are released earlier.

...See MoreSounds good what works:) I figured might as well plan for the worst and it can't get any worse than that;)
In the mean time I'm starting to read a great book called Data in school counseling and another book called evidence-based school counseling to help me get my mind around component 4:) Starting early for this last component!

Did you have anyone who was not fully understanding the lesson as it was being presented? If so, what modifications did you have to make? Did timing have to be ajusted in any way? If so, why and what changes did you make? Were there any uncontrollable factors that may have interrupted the planned lesson, (ex., altered school schedule for the day, emergency announcement, etc.)?

Hi,
I am renewing too! Good luck!
What I did was just typed on the form found in the NBPTS Profile of Professional Growth pdf on p.47 by using the text tool above it. Draw a box under each question and type. Save it, print and scan it.
Seems long but it worked. I don't know if there is a simpler way.
