Hey there

I just found out that my mentor is on leave and may not be able to help as usual . Soooo I have three options

* just study and focus on component 1 and take component 2 out my basket

* take them both and get a new mentor

* take them both and keep her but use informal NBCT support

I have to be done by April so times a ticking...smh
liz I think 1 and 2 are really good to do together because comp 2 will help you understand and study your standards which you need for component 1. I had 2 mentors, and I can tell you that they are not all equally good. It doesn't hurt (or cost you anything) to ask for a new mentor.

mscrawford101 There's a lot of great resources on the web. Join the Facebook groups and the other boards. I didn't do it with a mentor but I did use input and feedback from my peers!
