I am soliciting information from individuals, teachers,
administrators or parents that have had some experience
with the Special Education vouchers which are part of a
educational program in Florida and Ohio.

Please contact me with your pros or cons regarding the
above listed information.

I have two children that are learning disabled thus in
Special Education in Alaska.

Last year I pulled my children out of public school as my
oldest was suffering daily from bullying and harrassment.

Now I advocate for School Choice. I feel that the monies
spent in my son's due process proceeding could have been
utilized to further his education, bring him back up to
speed and he could have been in a different school.
Instead the monies were utilized to pay a Hearing Officer,
the District had an Attorney (who does not work for peanuts
either) they had to rent space in a church and paid for th...See More

We just finished due process proceedings today ourselves. I
never used to give much thought to school choice and vouchers
but it is something I think more and more about every day.
Maybe, it would in some cases be the best thing for a child.
