This year I have a few students who are not successful at filtering their thoughts. All ideas come straight out orally. Many times these outbursts can be distracting to other kids or even me when I'm giving instructions, etc. Any great ideas for managing outbursts?

Elizabeth Dobyns Hi Fonda and Megan, I have seen similar behavior from adults as well! I use the parking lot all the time and find it a great way to prevent the discussions from going off track. Thsi may not work as well in regular classrooms, but in training I have a poster on the wall to put the post it notes. That way, everyone can view it during break or lunch ...See More
