Today I made an aweful mistake. We have a janitor whose wife and kids have been known to steal from the classrooms, and myself last year. A few weeks ago my iPod went missing. I lock my door everyday. Well, earlier this week the janitor's wife and kids were spotted in my classroom at approximately 8 in the evening with the lights off by our school secretary who just happened to stop back by the school to pick something up that she had left. Then my jacket went missing, I assumed the daughter who is about my size took my jacket. I went and spoke with the principal because I had had enough. I was really upset. Later the tapes were watched from our cameras. It was shown that the daughter did not take my jacket as I had assumed.

I feel about this () big! What do I do to make this better? I feel aweful! I never should have gone to the principal with this.
MrsComputers Thank goodness, all is better now. The child never knew that I accused her. My principal was understanding because of the situation. I typically don't try to judge anyone so I really felt bad, but I atleast confirmed why I prefer not to be judgemental. Bad Mistake! On 10/01/09, MrsComputers wrote: > Today I made an aweful mistake. Jo Thanks for bringing this up. It is hard to admit mistakes and assumptions. Good lesson for all.

connie Why are you feeling bad? What were they doing in your classroom? I would want an answer. It may be that they are clever and know how to avoid the security cameras. I'm not sure why the principal tolerates the family roaming around the building.
