Durante Neal’s Georgia public high school coach knocked his eyeball out of its socket to punish Durante for fighting with another student. The coach hit Durante in the eye with a weight lock, which caused his eye to pop out of its socket, lost forever. Cedric Napolean, a 14-year-old autistic special education student, was smothered to death by his special education teacher’s “restraint,” a form of “corporal punishment” for misbehavior.
