I discuss with the children the way he makes up silly characters
that may not be real but they are fun and they rhyme. We read...
"There's a Wocket in my Pocket". Who knows what a Wocket
is? He uses his imagination.
We then make a similar book using the phrase There's a -------in
They think of a place or object and then create a character by
rhyming and drawing a picture of this imaginary character. We
put it together to make a book and it gets many laughs.
