Republicans are Back and So are Big Deficits!

For all of the howling about the deficit in the Obama years, the Republicans are back to their true colors - spending money like a drunken sailor while cutting taxes. In the article "Trump’s ‘Debt Bomb’: Deficit May Grow, Defense Budget May Not", you find this:

“Trump is going to explode the debt,” GOP pundit Mackenzie Eaglen said. “What you’re going to see is a debt bomb.” Mackenzie Eaglen, defense analyst at the American Enterprise Institute.

While the new president wants to grow the military, rebuild infrastructure, and cut taxes, Eaglen said, his plan to fund all that that through steep domestic spending cuts “is complete fantasy” that will never pass the Senate.
