In response to the Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse, the author below suggests a Hollywood "union", with lawyers, supported by wealthy actresses that could "redress, at least in part, the power of these male producers and directors." Yet, despite writing the quote below, he seems to miss the point. The bigger problem is what capitalism does to a society.

At the end point of capitalism, the rich and powerful are largely exempt from the law and that is true in every industry. A union in Hollywood is a bandage on a boil that needs to be lanced! Simply put, abuse and exploitation is part of capitalism.
