I'm writing a last minute narrative for a student who needs special ed services. I'm trying to say that "developmentally she is at a three or four year old level." Is there a better way to say this?

Natalie Thanks for the feedback. This was actually a comment made by her previous teacher. She is a brand new student in my class that we are very concerned about.

jo/ma With similar students, I have written "academic, social, and self-help skills are at a pre-kindergarten level" and then back it up with examples (identifies 5 letters and 0 letter sounds, counts up to 3 objects successfully, sits quietly in group for 2 min., needs assistance to manage clothing, etc.) You could fill out a kindergarten skill checklis...See More
