Pretty if you use 3 different colors.

Writing - You can make something out of the shape - like people do with clouds - and write a creative story.

Kimberly attern blocks are perfect for symmetry. Put two same shaped objects together like a mirror image and you automatically have 2 symmetrical or congruent sides. Spring murals can be made by gluing on shapes: eggs, flowers, a basket, clouds, the sun, a tree Fold and cut shapes.

in Missouri I had my children draw a line down the center of their desk with a dry erase marker. They were given a bowl of pattern blocks and then had to create a design that "matches" on each side of the line.
