Does anybody know about quinoa? It's supposed to be a nearly perfect food....grain from Central/South America? Any suggestions on where to buy it and how to prepare it ?
Sj I have bought some at Trader Joe's. It's really easy to prepare--I just followed the directions on the box.

I'm looking forward to seeing other recipes though.

Jo Whole Foods, some major grocery chains, Costco, etc It is around these days.

Most say rinse first. I use it just like I would use couscous. It doesn't take but a minute to cook. Texture and taste is a bit different.

AM They call it a perfect food as it is a complete protein on it's own so that statement is a bit misleading.
