Our district is proposing the use of SF My Sidewalks as a Tier 2 Intervention. We'd had the presentation, but would like input from reading teachers who have used this program. As trained Reading Recovery teachers we dislike such a canned program that we have difficulty following the child. What are your observations? Is this something that allows us to tweak the script, etc.??? Thanks for your help!
dl Sue, I worked with this program for three years and have mixed feelings about it. It's strengths are that many parts of it support the instruction going on in the classroom.
