Aimsweb review?

Can anyone give any feedback on using Aimsweb? In particular, I'm considering its effectiveness as a universal screening tool (3x/year), but would be interested in any reflection that anyone might have. Thanks. Cathy

My school found it worthless. Dibels has been proven to be a worthless, aimsweb...See More

barbara gordon We started using AIMSWEB last year. It can be a daunting task to get everyone tested in a suitable amount of time. Our goal is to use the stats to drive our instruction....but getting everyone on board is tough. And that's time to in-service and review. Cathy Thanks. My new school is already using Dibels (I don't think it's going to disappear) and I think that Aimsweb looks a lot more useful for RTI. I like the Progress Monitoring piece of comprehension/maze, and the fact that it's normed for B,M,End of year. And then it has the math pieces, also.
