Word Wall Snowball

Here's an idea my kids loved! You might need to do this in the gym or on the playgorund. We did it in the room too, but be careful. Call out a spelling test word/word wall word. They write it on a sheet of paper (they can have clipboards or not.) Then when everybody is finished they ball the paper up and you say...1...2...3....WORD WALL SNOWBALL! They throw the paper into the air. Everyone grabs 1 ball and opens it. You spell the word aloud and they check the paper of whoever they found. Then, keeping the paper they found, you call out the next word. They write it on the paper and it all starts again. Keep going til the papers are about worn out. This involves a little bit of physical activity so they love it and are spelling too.
