I can't think of another career where you are so dedicated that you choose to work 9 hours a day with no pay for four months and you are expected to already be trained. I am wasting my time student teaching. If we are expected to know it already then I should be granted my degree and find out in my own classroom by asking other teachers. There should be a better system. Student teaching stinks!

Leah Just a thought. I'm sorry your experience is not working out to your liking. However, if you want to get your teaching certificate and graduate, you may need to change you attitude to a more postive one.

When you are in your own classroom you will find other teachers don't have a lot of time to spend answering your questions. smithsimon Thanks peppers1234 for being candid. It has nothing to do with your attitude. You are addressing what you actually see...the education system has imploded in many ways and it has to do with people such as on this post who have fed into the notion that all you have to do is change your attitude; how sad!
