How you use them depends on grade level, what you want to do, etc. They are not good if you want to edit video or create a yearbook but since I can now accomplish about 98&37; of my job with web applications, it is capable of all of that.
The CrossTec response seems inappropriate to me. This isn't an advertising website.

Other schools have various portable electronic devices provided in the classrooms. It is up to the teacher to ensure that the electronic devices are correctly obtained, carried, and returned to the storage location. Here are excellent tips for you, and to share with your entire campus.
I am hoping you will be able to help me. I am trying to find a decent laptop for my 2 children who are in their first year of high school. I am very lost on what to look for or buy. I did find a bundle at the local store, but am not sure it's worth the money. They are offering an Acer Apsire E15 Laptop, Windos 8.1, 15.6 LED backlight display; AMD (EZ) Quadcore Processor, 4 GB Memory, ! TB hardrive, wireless mouse, 1 yr McAfee, soft side case for $298. That is right in our price range (we are on a very tight budget) but I am concerned about the computer lasting the 4 years they are in school. I see them doing a lot of basic school work, esp. Essays and Thesis papers, not so much on gaming. Could you plz advise me? Any input at all would be appreciated and I won't hold u responsible! ;-) Thanks!

Hope to see you on the site!
What software do you all have in place to control SPAM. We use Trend Micro which is expensive and good but I swear it stinks as far as letting stupid email through the firewall. It updates daily so it's not like it just was installed and left dormant.
Also do any of you know of a really great place to write for grants? We are in need of new computers all over our campus. Thanks.
Hi! I'm really new at this and part of my new duties include trouble shooting computers do you know of any good websites or on-line courses that I could look into to improve my trouble shooting skills? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Personally, I learned a lot just from going to [link removed]!
And even just googling the problem can bring up help areas all over. Heck, I just found out I could get white-out off of khaki pants using WD40 from googling "how to get white-out off of khaki pants" -- no kidding. So computer fixes are just as interesting to find.
You will want to look into A+ computer repair classes and books. They are the basic of trouble shooting and certification.
