Our district starts letter grades at second grade with a 90- 100 scale for an A.

I'm just curious if this is about the same time as other places or earlier/later?

Tallytchr We give grades and then we have a comment section that gives us a paragraph or so space to give narrative.

If your whole report card is narrative...is it just a written page or do you have a template to follow?

teach3 We used to use letter grades in, with rubric letters under for specific skills. Now in k-4 we have gone to a silly rubric system 4=above expectations 3=meeting expectations 2=working toward expectations 1=below expectations
