given to local food bank or homeless shelter, Collect cans
of dog & cat food (bags too) collected for "Love Gone A-
Stray" donated to local Humane Society. ask each student to
bring in one paperback book in English/Spanish to be
donated to local Ronald McDonald House, invite Ronald to
visit on the 100th day of school to pick up books, ask
local representatives from other organizations to come pick
up their goods and invite tv & newspapers to be present,
every student should be working on a collection of 100
items to be displayed in library or cafeteria, award
ribbons to most creative, biggest, smallest and most
unusual, have 8th graders write and give speech of 100
words in length, teachers & students may dress up as if
they were 100 yrs. old., have each class do a book
