The featured activity at The Imagination Factory explains
how to make a rain stick for Earth Day. There are dozens of
other art/recycling activities available as well. To find
instructions for the rain stick, go to Lessons/Activities

The Imagination Factory is an award-winning art site for
kids, parents and teachers. Visitors learn how to creatively
recycle to make drawings, paintings, sculpture and crafts.
The site features Trashasaurus Rex, a giant, solid waste
sculpture, and a Trash Matcher that allows visitors to find
appropriate art activities for the solid waste they have
available.
If you teach grades one or two, the April issue of
Scholastic News features Trashasaurus Rex. The recycled
dino now makes his home at the Rocky Mount Children's Museum
in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
