We are traveling to Europe this summer with a student tour
and have just now been told that our prices are going to go
up over $350 and parents have just about one month to pay.
We are very upset with this, and I was wondering if any
other travelers are being hit with the same sudden charge
by student tour groups? It might not have been so bad if we
could have given parents a head's up earlier, but we got no
indication from the company that we would be getting that
high of a surcharge until they emailed us last Saturday.
I have very upset parents, I am upset, and we are also
being told that some group guides are demanding that their
tips be only in Euros.
I just want to know if other groups are dealing with last
minute charges such as this? Our company is being no help
at all.
