My class has been receiving responses to our Aranea the
Spider project. Aranea was one of the three spiders that
stayed with Wilbur at the end of Charlotte's Web. My
class is sending out paper spiders with a single journal
page and a letter explaining that Aranea is having
adventures. The letter requests that the receiver show
Aranea around and return the journal page. She's been to
Idaho, Oregon, Florida, Ohio, and to visit the President
of Stanford. California Senator Cox took her to the
capitol. It's turning into a very exciting project.
