Collaborative Writing Project

Looking for third, fourth and fifth grade classes to participate in The Write On Project, a collaborative writing experience. Working together, ten classes will write and illustrate a story, hosted on the project wiki, [link removed]

The lead fourth grade class from Plainville, CT will write two paragraphs in the Wiki to begin a story. Students will create a picture (computer generated, or digital image of hand drawn picture) to illustrate their paragraphs. One picture will be chosen for inclusion in the Wiki, and uploaded. The teacher will then email the other participating teachers, letting them know the first paragraphs have been posted. The second class will have one week to post two more paragraphs and a picture. Once that's posted, the teacher needs to email all participating classes. This continues until all classes have added their two paragraphs and picture.
