(Pardon any errors as I'm typing on my phone.)

I flew back to the US to take four different subject exams, the GK, and the Professional Ed exam. So far, I didn't pass three of the subject exams, but I nailed the GK (though waiting on the essay). I still take the Reading K-12 In two days and then take the Professional Ed exam on the 26th. Any recommendations for those two exams?

***GK Exam: Somebody already mentioned the two topics: health and the need for math/science/ESL teachers. I would just focus on spelling, grammar and essay organization. Considering you are expected to write an essay in 50 minutes, there shouldn't be a high expectation for any prior quantitative research. Also, for those who have never taken it, editing your essay can be a pain because typing something new deletes what is in front of it, so it helps to be a fast typer.

I passed the reading, English Language Skills and Math, but the reading section actually took quite a bit of critical...See More
Jeannie do you happen to remember the GKT reading passages... anything you remember will be appreciated...
