Good Morning Everyone!

Happy Hump Day! =) I'm currently studying for the GKT and I recently did not pass the reading section (In my opinion the passages were too long for the allotted time given and they were made extremely tricky).

Would like to hear from my fellow Floridian Teachers what practices, tips and tricks, and strategies you all would suggest or recommend that could help me pass the Reading section of the GKT.

I have six study books, one of which is the NavaEd book, which I do pretty well on, but none of the passages on the study guides come even close to the styles passages on the tests. the questions on the tests are longer and harder, again in my opinion.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thank you all in advance!

Mrs. G =)

Ms. J @Mrs. G thank you for the response and I will email you. Yes, things always change with the test and thanks for sharing. In regards to the NAVAED, I have the math only - Did that resource help you pass? I take mine again for the third time this week.

I studied the math section 2 days before the test..never looked at one math practice problem prior to that...with the YouTube videos and the practice tests in the book, I passed and still had time left over (about 20 mi...See More
