I am a contacting you from England and I wonder if you could help me.
Could you please tell me, do teachers write summer end of year reports to parents in your country.
If so, what format are these in and do they reflect the entire years subjects taught or are they a more general summary of a child’s year and achievements.
I teach three sections of an Early Childhood Classroom Structure/Behavior Management class in the fall (with about 55-60 students total). I am looking for early childhood (primary) classroom teachers who would be interested in an "e" project where they would become an e-pal with one of my students discussing classroom management strategies/philosophies/approaches that work/have not worked in the classroom. It would involve about 4-6 e-mails where my students would inquire about classroom management, your response, and then your "sharing" of specifics in a particular classroom. Would you like to become an "e-pal" for a semester? Thanks.
Hello French Teachers I have a small company that writes and sells reporducible activities for French Teachers. Currently most of my customers are from Canada but I would like to expand to the US. I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what kinds of activities and what level of French are US French teachers looking for? Any information would be really appreciated. You may e-mail me directly. Merci beaucoup Deborah Hansen Ladybug Publishing [link removed]
Frustration and fear and deep discouragement. Many friends who have been notified they are on the cut list and that list goes up to 5 years with the district. Rumors that there will be no air conditioning, freezing classrooms in the winter. No paper for copies. Classrooms increasing 50% in size.
But, we will produce miracles of achievement under lousy conditions won't we!
The news just reported that 43% in a poll preferred the cuts to raising taxes to fund schools. I think the case has been made but in this "me" society the only people who support funding schools are the teachers and some parents. Ugh!

The first cuts were made a month ago..necessary because of declining enrollment. Any cut the governor makes will be targeting elementary classroom teachers here, mainly. I now have 18 (loved it) and the possibility is that next year with cuts I will have 28-29.

Teachers, most of aren't aware of home loans that are designed just for you. Teachers and Administrators are the only ones who qualify. Interest rates and qualifying ratios are below normal. The only reason I am posting this message is to make you aware of the programs that are designed for you and you only. If you would like more information feel free to e-mail me. [email removed]
I am in need of some advice. I am applying for teaching jobs and have not been contacted for an interview. What should I do next? I live in Gardner and am very anxious to get a teaching job. I first received a teaching certificate in 1989. I substituted for 2 years and then worked in the business world for 10 years. I was very successful, but missed working with children. I left that job last year and took some graduate courses to renew my certificate. I have been substitute teaching agin this school year and am not sure what step to take next! I really want a full-time job, but am getting discouraged the more I hear about budget cuts, etc.
