Finding a job/Frustrated.

I am finding it very diffcult to find a job here. I have put in numerous amounts of applications to schools. I've only had one job interview (2 1/2 weeks ago), but I did not get an answer as to whether I got the job or not. I did a follow up with the school the other day and did not get a response I have not heard anything else from all the other schools I put applications into and believe me it's been numerous amounts schools everywhere. All my friends, family, and assoicates keep saying I will get something soon. What am I doing wrong, can someone please give me some suggestions, this is very frustrating.

Jen/3/TN I don't have any advice, but I'm curious to know if you found a job.

One thing I can tell you is that I have taught in both Tennessee and Idaho, and there are a number of teachers from Michigan that worked in both of my districts because they couldn't find jobs there. They all said the same thing--there aren't any jobs in MI. One friend m...See More

I think you will get a job soon I believe Mr./Mrs. "How Would We Know" is on his/her way out. Such a loose cannon is sure to be fired soon. Sorry you had to put up with such an obnoxious person on this site. Hopefully you can apply for his/her job soon!
