After moving to Texas 5 years ago with my wife and one
child for a "wonderful" engineering job that laid me off
after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.. I went and got my
teacher's certification thinking it was a way to survive
until the economy was right to come back to engineering.
Well now, with 3 kids, I find myself enjoying teaching.
The only thing I don't enjoy is the lack of discipline in
the Texas schools, so we have decided to come home to
Missouri.
I have some interviews set up, and will be making the
journey to hunt for a job and visit relatives the last
week of June. I have kept my eye on the moteachjobs site
as well as the Missouri REAP site are there any other
sites I should be watching?
Ideally, I would like a job near St Louis, because my
parents live there and the kids could get to know them
better. I also have family in Southern Illinois near
