my boyfriend was just recently "let go" from a private school for drinking a beer in public.
it was not specifically stated in the contract that he could not drink beer in public (he wasn't even in the state!).
he's a first-year teacher, and he was given NO warning.
does he have rights?
(he had signed a 1-year contract.)
