I am currently teaching in Florida but am seriously thinking about moving my family to South Carolina. I am interested in finding out if there are teaching positions available and the chances of being hired.

I know that things got tough last year in Florida for new teachers trying to get a job. I was just wondering if there was a similar problem in South Carolina.

doh I doubt if you really did sit in a real union negotiation. Your short sightedness on union's is really evident in your post. Especially in teacher unions.

Will Rogers You may doubt whatever you wish.....I was there, and did so. It is because of what I saw and learned from both sides of the negotiation is why I feel the way I do about unions. "doh" why are you not brave enough to stand by your statements, but hide? That is a coward's way. A friend I worked with as a teacher now works for the AFL-CIO in union HQ. ...See More
