hello, i just recently moved to the clarksville TN area from canada and am wanting to teach. Since i've just graduated this past year, i have no other experience but my practicum in a grade 4 class. I am still waiting for my worker's visa and then would need to be certified in TN before i can obtain employment. What I am wanting to know is, since I have no experience in US school systems, if anybody can suggest other jobs that can help me gain/learn more about school systems in the states, specifically TN (I'd like to learn more before I get my certification here in TN and/or while I wait to be certified...eg. teachers aide?) Also, how vital is actual teaching experience to the hiring process? Thank you so much!
