The pay seems great, but I've heard some very bad things.
Liek no regular sector jobs, a good old boy mentality,
political corruption, assault of teachers, administrators
not backing teachers,gangs, high crime. Is midtown safe? I
happen to be African American and I am in Detroit, so I'm
used to negative publicity ( some false/some true). I plan
to teach elementary. But I don't want to jump out of the
frying pan and into the fire. Will the real memphis please
stand up?
