So, I'm laughing a lot and brushing up on my hide and seek skills, but my exercise quota hasn't been met since Saturday. Oh, and reading. Yes, that too. Gram-ming is great!
We have had three really gorgeous sunny days in a row. I took the two youngest grands to the park yesterday. That place was hopping with families and dogs. If these two grands aren't cross country runners in the future I certainly will be surprised. They have the physique and love for distance running. That could be a ticket for paying for college if that worked out.
No exercise for me since Friday except for walking at the park yesterday. I have a very busy week with appointments and maybe jury duty starting Tues (I am hoping for a plea bargain getting agreed on Monday night) That means no cycling til Friday for me.
If the staff is able to stay on task and uses the planning time productively, it could work. There needs to be some accountability. It is known in our area that when there is an elearning day, many teachers just take the day off while the students are working independently on line at home.
If your school implements this schedule, please post your thoughts on how it is working or not working.
It's dreary and foggy here in NE Indiana, but it's heatwave time: 39F. Yay! 9,128 steps on a walk with DSIL. People were dog-walking. Cars were moving freely. These are the days that allow us to tolerate winter in these parts. Our new frig comes tomorrow morning. All is well here . . .
judycaretHello! Sorry I haven't posted. I've been busy stressing out over house "updating." But I'm still walking 5-6 miles most days. I'm hovering just above my goal weight because chocolate and I can't seem to end our co-dependency.
We had another closed day of school due to an ice storm last night. We had our appointment moved to one so we ventured to the northern part of the state that usually gets lake effect snow. Once we got about an hour north of here and the ice and snow was non existent. After sitting in the car all those hours, I was ready to ice skate out the car and got a cycling class and put in 19.3 milles. I felt a lot better. I love cycling!
