Your life was relatively carefree when you graduated from college so yes, it has gotten harder and that's without even factoring in the job stress.
You say you love to teach and are passionate about the students so that is what should help drive you. Take a step back and use your original philosophy statement to re-energize your self. What parts of your philosophy still hold true for you today? What have you learned about teaching and yourself since then and how have they changed the way you think about how you approach teaching?
As you think about what your revised philosophy is may also help you re-focus and help you to get out of the "funk".
I do hope we are still working on the wonderful activities here at roll call. I miss hearing about the various ways we keep active. Holidays are over, hope we can get back into the groove. Temps in northern MI today was 44!! Heat wave! Hugs to all.
I did spinning yesterday morning and got a good 19 miles in. I am taking my 14 year old grand with me tomorrow to a fitness dance class. She has never been but has expressed interest. That should be interesting!
I knew two people that died as a result of this flu going around. One was a 65 year old man in Texas and the other a 40 year old distant relative of dh. When I have a face and name to go with these people, it really makes an impact on the reality of this epidemic. Both were healthy people.
We are having a heatwave tomorrow but a lot of rain coming with it. There goes our snow.
I need help to prepare for the CST Mathematics test. I have a teaching credential in Math in California, but I will be moving to NY. Unfortunately, I have very little knowledge about the test prep materials, so I need your help. How did you prepare for the test? I bought this xamonline secret book, but they look exactly the same the one for California math test which it is completely not related. Is there any material that it is actually close to the test format/ content? Thank you so much for your help!
In reality, there are two winters: one made for kids, the other for adults. The one made for adults is always too cold and always too long. The one made for kids is always perfect.
