This is a private school where the teachers barely acknowledge the IEP.
children should be in a public school with more support.
We're targeting IEP goals in RR.
I'm not great with speaking formally on these things.
Since you are at a private school, talk to your admin. about being able to service the child. Sometimes they will hang on to these kids because they don't want to lose the tuition money and some schools have no problem letting the parents know that they can't service the child and will send them back to the public school.
If your school uses peer tutoring, how does it work? For example, what grade level are the tutors, what kinds of concepts/subjects do they help younger students with and are there certain times of the day/week they tutor?
BubblySkyOur middle school has it. 1 hour a week after school. Kids from our high school come to the cafeteria. no appointment needed. they help the middle school kids with anything they need- homework, studying, etc. I wish my son would go, I love the idea. and the HS kids get service credits for it.
I'm still walking 1.5 miles every other day. Some days easy, others a bit more work. On nasty winter days, will walk in the mall. Good to hear you guys are still at it, keep up the good work!!!
NovelI try to walk five miles a day...and it is definitely making me fitter. If I can't manage that in a whole day, I march in front of the television at night! It really helps having a pedometre on my mobile phone.
mscrawford101When I submitted mine two years ago, there was no document. I created a word file with my candidate ID and that was that! Don't think it has changed...
