I have started my PGCE Primary 5-11 course recently and part of this course is to choose a specific subject to lead with, I initially wanted PE or History but having spoken to several teachers they advised a core subject.
Because of this I am completely torn between Math and English.
I got my box of goodies of my big prize yesterday. We are meeting my sister halfway so she can have our grands at her place while we have our big weekend in the capital city. Being able to park here anyplace free, it's hard to swallow to cough up all that cash just to self park at the hotel. It's an 11 minute walk to the stadium from our hotel and I think the weather is supposed to be decent. The place that awarded me the weekend package wants me to post pictures on social media which I have never done so I need to figure out how to do that yet. Lol I am excited. We should have a really fun experience.
So, no weekend bike rides this weekend for me.
Where is everybody? I know I was zonked out all week teaching but I know most on this group are retired. I hope to read responses soon and everybody is fine, just busy.
I am a current student and I am needing to interview two teachers. Is anyone available to answer the following questions...
1. What challenges do you find with the implementation of rules and consequences for the classroom?
2. What common practice should a teacher demonstrate and implement as it pertains to establishing rules and consequences in the classroom? What should be agreed and understood by everyone involved?
3. What strategies should a teacher avoid that can be detrimental as a disciplinary strategy?
4. What activity can a teacher implement to encourage joint effort with her students on the value
and importance of rules and consequences for the classroom?
We just got this book and I would like to know how you guys introduce the vocabulary. We had an old book "Ven Conmigo" and it broke it into 3 pasos. Ayuda por favor. The cuaderno de practica does not have enough activities. What do you guys do? Thanks
