Going to the toilet during lesson time?

I never let my year 2 class (UK) go to the toilet during lesson time unless they have a doctors note, but have recently been getting a lot of stick from people.

Do you let children out to the toilet in class time? Or make them wait until break?

Ardnam If it is KEY instructional time, I will ask if they can wait a few minutes. I do let children use the facilities when they need to, however.
