I posted just 15 minutes ago - new thread- and I see it is no where to be found. Is this the same thing others have happen when they say their posts vanish? When mine vanished in the past that would happen right in the middle of typing when the page refreshed. It looks like that problem has been resolved.
I do not have air in my room. This has been an issue for quite a few years. Maintenance has come and go, but the problem has not been solved. I have fans, but what else can I buy to ensure to have a cool year (literally).
I amy be starting out on this journe...See MoreHi Mozart, I remember you! BA gave some great helpful hints. I know the magazine Guideposts offers writers workshops and may have some advice. Sometimes book stores offer writing type courses too. You might have a retired college composition teacher or high school English teacher who could help you too.
I amy be starting out on this journey of writing too. 2 years ago this week we lost our oldest granddaughter as she was stillborn. I was trying to find something to do to help with my grief and my mother-in-law was doing the same. Long story short we both found an organization where donated wedding gowns can be sewn into premie gowns and outfits. Turns out Star Legacy collects the gowns and volunteers cut them out and sew them. My mother-in-law is cutting up my wedding dress and sewing them into outfits right now. My youngest daughter just launched my mother-in-laws facebook page for the parents of these angels. My oldest daughter lost two babies and her blog along with other resources for bereaved parents will be presented on this page.
Now I have been collecting photos and my thoughts on this whole last 2 years and writing an article about it. I use Google Docs for writing everything and notes and such. Good luck on your family story. You might also check on self publishing your novel or go through a local printing company.
MozartHi Deb! I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I'm sad for you and your family but glad that something good is growing out of that experience. Thank you for your suggestions.
15659 today. The little guy and I walked around most of the morning. I was amazed by his willingness. We stopped to ride the hammock, play w plastic dinosaurs, watch the geese (and their droppings), sit on a bulldozer, etc. Short walk this evening. Home tomorrow. Darn.
