I set up the Zumba tape this morning (leader was out of town), then followed up with 3 miles walking the senior hall. Treadmill when I made it home after lunch with DM. Hoping for a drop on the scales this week. My problem: I enjoy eating!!!!
Three deer in the back yard right now. Momma and two yearlings. I call her "twinkletoes" because of her markings.
Hopefully we will be getting warmer weather (today is 17) this weekend.
My weight...See MoreI don't count steps but I walk for an hour every day and extra walks here and there. When the weather is bad I still walk inside (our house has an open plan and is two stories so I get in a great workout walking inside).
I have started doing planks, only 3 a day right now (Sundays off) but I can hold them for 65 seconds!
My weight was at a plateau and someone told me about their "magic trick" but to not do it more than 2 days a week or your body gets used to it. It is to eat a boiled egg and 1 apple, with the skin on, and to skip lunch and have only 1 serving of each food at dinner. I chose to do it two mornings in a row and it got my weight going down again! I was not too hungry.
Looking forward to spring ad getting outside more!

Babs, that authentic exercise is the best! And look what you accomplished!
Old Walker, way to go on those planks. I'm trying to play with weights a tiny bit as I watch TV.
I walked 10,000 steps alone today and then this afternoon two old friends (separately, they don't know each other) called to check in. It's so nice to feel loved.
Our paras, bus drivers, and food service staff are staging a 3 day strike. Yesterday was, um, interesting. The BOE made sure there were enough staff in the building to meet the children's needs, especially those in self-contained special ed classrooms. Can't wait to see what today brings. I should have stayed retired. Kathy

Pt workout this morning, house chores for DM, and treadmill will soon be engaged. 5,327 steps (so far).
Power was out for a day, then cable and internet the next.
Just filled out papers to take $ from a retirement account and will spend some of it...new furnace, needed. DH is giving up the wood furnace...getting older and he says it isn't as much fun as it was. My friend just bought a new car!!! and I get a furnace!! Come on!!
judycaret I walked about 5,000 steps alone (up my big hill) and then a slower 5000 steps with a friend. I love being out walking. I hate coming home and dealing with Comcast and Terminix.
Oh, Judy, pe...See MoreBev, I'm chuckling . . . heat in your clime is definitely not a luxury item. DH has earned his wood cutting rest. You're definitely a "plugger" on this exercise thing. Many years for you . . .
JRod, glad for the weight loss, but you're have probably preferred gym workouts. Did you ever think you'd say that?
Oh, Judy, pest control x 2 can't be good. We'd have had a joke for that in our childhoods, wouldn't we? (At least, I'd have said that about my bro in days of yore!) Two walking styles.
10842 steps today. Whew, just cleared that 10K! I did a late afternoon walk on the golf course. I hope those days are nearly behind me for 2017 and the golfers are walking on the course. Very cool and windy. Even some blowing snow, and there's not much on the ground to blow.
I forgot my password on eBay so I had a code texted to me to gain access to my account. But in order to put in a new password I need to give them my old password which I don't have! I have access to the account for now but when I access it in the future I will need a password. Anyone have any ideas???
Number404For most sites, the code they send is your temporary password. It will work as your old password long enough to let you change to a new one. If you wait too long, you have to request another temporary password and change that.
Are you sure they're asking for your old password? IIRC, eBay sends a text code which, once entered opens a page where you can type in the NEW password you want to have for your account. I may be wrong, but try it- type a new password in the box and see if you can then use it. Make sure it's not the same as the old password or eBay probably won't accept it.
