The changes I made made this workout a bit harder but I was able to complete everything and maintain proper form. Slowly getting stronger!
Cardio today was 2.4 miles at 3.38 mph average speed. My hamstrings were still tight from last Friday's session. They loosened up during the second mile which made that a bit faster than the first. Slowly getting faster!
Now, here are my new measurements: --neck, -1.0625 inches --r. upper arm, -.5 inches --waist, 1.25 inches --hips, -.75 inches --r. calf, .75 inches --chest, -2.25 inches --r. forearm, -.25 inches --stomach, -1.25 inches --r. thigh, -1.5 inches Total inches lost: 9.4 inches

Only 3788 steps today; we spent most of the day in the car picking up DD and DGS at the airport. We did spend some time at the park--at 21 months old, he is just happy to run around and then go up the steps. Going down the slide is the cherry on top of the sundae! Love that little guy!
I'm working with several researchers from George Mason University. We want to better understand your experiences and/or perceptions around online PD. We want to know what works for you, what doesn't, and what you would like to see in the future. Please consider taking. Even if you have never had online PD we are interested in your thoughts about it.
But, for me--8952 steps yesterday and 15,467 today! Instead of the usual February 19 scenario (long coat, boots, scarf, needing push from DH to get out the door), I was outside today and begging to stay there!
We built our forever home a little over 2 years ago. It has 2900 sq. feet on the main floor and another 2900 sq. feet in the finished basement. This house is built for us to stay in until we die! Everything is handicapped accessable in case one or both of us need that in the future. It is perfect for our parents who are ages 75-81 with a few knee and hip replacements and for my sister-in-law who has issues with her legs from an accident.
40 isn't even everyone on my side of the family. There will be three new babies this Christmas. We welcome the boyfriends/girlfriends of nieces and nephews plus single parent of one of the niece-in-laws! We have four generations going to this party! I wanted a space we could all come where nobody has to complain about the work or the clean up! We have tables and chairs for all to sit on the main floor. Thank goodness for plastic Lifetime tables, folding chairs from Fleet Farm and able bodied nephews!
It is such a blessing to step back and watch all the generations talk and visit with very few phones! This has been my dream for 30 years and hubby agreed. We had 30 years of house plans from Farm Journal magazine. Hubby has a beautiful home office for his appraisal business that he shares with me. We have a complete view of farmland to the south in the office. We have another wonderful view to the north of the farm we own. Currently the cows are enjoying corn clean up while we wait for calving season to begin soon.
Greatest joy is for oldest grandson to be with us and he farms the living room floor with cows, fences, and tractors.
just meWe have 18 foot ceilings open beamed in our family room. We also had this dilemma and opted instead for large area rugs so that we had more options. We are happy with the result. We also had the "silence" padding put under the hardwood floors and that made a huge difference.
judycaret 1. We combine our money. 2. We are reasonably happy about our spending. He spends too much on tools and I spend too much on clothes. 3. We are both frugal, as were our parents, though I give more now. 4. I think I'm an excellent money manager.
