i am excited to be doing a "Music around the world" theme this year, and my room is decorated with maps, flags of different countries, airplanes and hot air balloons. We are going to have passports for the year, etc as we study music from different countries. But I am stuck on bulletin board idea for music literacy - where I put the staff and notes, etc. I thought about "Baggage claim and hanging suitcases with the letter names on the lines, but is the connotation of "baggage" kind of negative? i would post on the music board but it has gone dormant, and thought there might be some creative people on here who could maybe help? Thank you.
Melody Personally, I wouldn't worry about any connotations of the word baggage with elementary school kids - especially given the whole them of a trip. It's far worse NOT to have baggage when you arrive at your destination on a trip, right? But you could always use the words luggage or suitcases.

The staff could somehow start out as an escalator ...See More
