Well, it might actually be September . . . a little sweat during the walk. Of course 45F when we woke up feels more like a month from now. 12,156 steps today. Loved the sun and the blue sky. Off to the lake with my Mexican salad for the buffet table.
men52 Elaine, it was cold here, too. I had to go buy a fleece jacket this afternoon since the zippers broke on both of mine. I woke up with a very sore right hip this morning so I need to stop spinning and cycling for awhile to see if this clears up. Actually it hurts mainly when walking.

Yes, the Pumpkinvine Ride is a good one. We ride the trail all the time but have not done the actual ride. It has a several mile stretch of road between the two main trails. We don't ride on the road--we did that section one time. Too many hills; too little berm for us wimps...See More

judycaret I'm here! I walked 3 miles today before it hit 108 degrees. Yes, 108. These are unprecedented numbers for us, horrendous heat wave. For the first time in the 27 years we've lived here, I've left the AC on overnight the last 2 nights. No wonder I'm looking forward to moving back to coastal Southern California.
