Hubby and I went for our walk this evening. We did 3.52 miles in 64 minutes. My fitness tracker clocked my total steps for today at 10,799. The steps are a mix of actual exercise walking and just steps taken walking around the house and the vet errand today.

While I thought I was being cautious with not pushing my fitness routine too fast too soon, my body is telling me that is not the case. My feet and knees are talking to me and I have decided to listen. I will do the last run tomorrow of the C25k (OCD won't let me not do it) and then stick to just walking 3 miles five days a week. I will rest my feet and knees on the weekends. I hate that my head tells me I can do the running but my body says otherwise. But I'm no spring chicken so I will do what is needed.
