Yes, there is an essay for each question. 4 questions. It is a lot to write and finish. Is there a hint on the Cover letter or Resume?

Again, as teachers we generally don't really do resumes and cover letters for DoDEA. But, given the nature of DoDEA you probably want to make sure you have elements in there that address why you want to teach with DoDEA (e.g. related military service, military brat, serve the mission etc) to show that you would be suited to dealing with military fa...See More

It should be the usual number of credit hours, unless you are able to add a cert to a state certificate through testing.

We have chatted a few times. Do you know if any of the TVI jobs are still open? I finish the class that qualifies me for SPED by Thanksgiving. Already qualified for VI and English. Now hoping to get an interview for next school year. Thanks.

Thank you someday. Of course, pension laws also change after retirement and you may not be grandfathered. Hence the reason I agree with HaHa, work until you drop.

As I said, I don't claim to be an expert. Apparently if you isolate just the pension, then you would do better in some states. I would just say that you should make certain that you are comparing apples to apples as much as you can, keeping in mind that with DoDEA it is pension + SS + TSP with 5% gov't matched funds + increased salary over many sta...See More
