In DoSELF, US citizens teach only non-US citizens in schools located in a foreign nation.
Offered a DoSELF (Dept of State English Language Fellowship) to teach students 08/22/2021-06/22/2022 in Estonia while salaried from the US Embassy in Estonia. Like DoDEA, teachers receive living allowance, round-trip airfare for spouse and dependents from the US Government. Job positions are matched to host nation's request to US Embassy for subject matter teachers licensed in the US. The foreign school gets an US Embassy vetted educator at no cost to the school for ten months.
Any info about CAC ID cards, Official US Passports, driving licenses for DoSELF Teachers?

Thanks for the info. I'm an SLP with no luck getting into overseas dodea. Thought I would try another route.

I am not familiar with EDIS. Please explain. Although DoSELF selected me as only teacher for Estonia, Estonia just halted the exchange this week awaiting "further development.s." Possible CoVID related? I am back in the pool of DoSELF candidates.

EDIS is the education developmental intervention services. It is for kids 0 to 3 years of age.
